About "friends" window

So, a while back I added some friends to my friends list, and yesterday I want to send one a PM, but for some reason the "send this friend a PM" button doesn't work, the same happens to the name link, is this normal?

Now I can only watch who's online and who's off, nothing more, how do I fix it?
