Hear me out fam... have you ever had a transport carried sandwich?

Let me elaborate... when I was a kid, my school did at least 5 excursions/trips (per school year) to different cultural and natural places in the city, that is, museums, universities, recreation sites, natural reservations, other states, etc.
And mom would always make me a sandwich, coverrd with a napkin and placed in a plastic bag... that was my meal for the trip.
But I've always had a problem with transportation, that is, I get dizzy very easily if the bus is super crowded or if it smells like gasoline. So I always saved my sandwiches and ate them when we arrived back to school in order to not vomit myself.

Somehow, my sandwich(es) tasted thousand times better than when it was fresh... and that's a tradition I've been doing since I was 5 or 6 years old.
That tradition being, making a sandwich, cover it in paper, put it inside a plastic/paper bag, carry it around for couple hours, and then eat it when it's kind of fermented.

IS IT JUST ME?! OR IS THERE SOMEONE THAT HAS FOUND THIS LIFE SECRET HACK BEFORE TOO?

PS: I also do this with Burgers and Tortas.
