thing is since android can already be emulated and the switch uses a processor android runs on why would it be that hard to emulate.

Most emulators run just on the software itself and not the hardware but since a gaming pc can run 4k games it can run probably
if there is a way to optimize

well you might be able to run some of the games on an rooted nvidia shield tv i said some because it has 1 gb less ram then the switch.

Not to mention it would take a very expensive pc to emulate it. more then cemu and cirta so its not worth emulating current gen consoles because of how powerful and expensive your processor would need to be.

The switch is technically last gen. If you can run cemu just fine you should be able to emulate the swtich as well

The shield doesn't have the power to emulate switch games. Emulation requires a lot more power.

Not emulate, apparently some switch games will be ported for the shield.

The Switch version of Breath of the Wild has better graphics, but the two versions are still comparable.

It has higher resolution and a bigger FOV but that's all

Switch are just a bit stronger than Wii U if not the same. Even if it could work as home console, Switch is technically a handheld.

Spec wise, all handheld are emulatable by PC. The performance of an emulator is mostly depend on the coding and how much they know about the console though. Until this day we still cannot have a perfect N64 emulator for that same reason.

I can give you a simple answer:
Because you would have to execute Switch games. And the only thing capable of that is the (obviously not open source) Switch OS.
