Hacking Alternative to TubeHax DNS..? (Blocking Wii U Auto-Updates)

I went to run my Wii U after a power outage, and TubeHax is no longer functioning for me. Eternal timeouts for net stuff.

Why am I posting here? I'm looking for a trustworthy alternative. Is there a new popular alternative to this or no?

Well if your router supports it, you could use the parental control feature and block the following urls on your WiiU MAC adress:

TubeHax is generally reliable, but "chncdcksn hax" is popular to set as your Secondary DNS

Just to emphasise, add chncdcksn as a secondary DNS and you will be fine.

Tubehax has been down for a while now, it might not be coming back.

I've personally always used Chncdcksn's DNS server as my primary, and an invalid IP as my secondary. (192.168.0.0)

Seems to be much more reliable then TubeHax, as many times as I've heard about TubeHax going down for extended periods of time.

That seems to be the one I found that made me confident it wasn't a router problem. Thanks guys. A shame about Tubehax, I like the convenience of not screwing with the router, but that's how I've got it set now.

You don't need to configure your router if you just use Chncdcksn DNS.

It depends how you want it set up, I guess. I don't trust my router to not forget settings, so it is reassuring that it will simply fail to connect if the DNS goes down (rather than ninja-updating).
