1. (of a person) Not identified by name; of unknown name.
2. Having no outstanding, individual, or unusual features; unremarkable or impersonal.

All of you are anonymous so gtfo
No we're not all anon. As it says in the definition, we are identifiable by name. You know me as machomuu, therefore if someone else had my avatar, profile pic, and all of my same info, you'd know who I am because of my username which cannot be duplicated.

touche, I still say most of us follow the second definition

what's with the article constantly mentioning Al Jazeera? was it sourced from their site? i guess that's why i'm starting to get this rather radical vibe off of the quotes in there... mainly from "US Empire". IIRC, it's mostly middle eastern radicals who use that term.

getting the middle east involved... this is actually starting to make me nervous. heads could roll when this is all over. don't get them involved. just keep your mayhem to the west, please.

People still thinks that they are anonymous on Internet? That Anonymous concept is stupid, because no matter how much you hide, you be traced back easily.

You must not know very much about the internet, then. Why do you think LulzSec's not yet been found? They certainly aren't hiding under rocks, I can tell you that much.

i think its a good think that groups like this do hack into the systems and tell the people ... think about real bad organisations who steal the data and noone never knows until it might be to late and these guys have something they could use ...

so better a weird group of freaks gets the data and tell the people ... even thaught it would be better not to publish, well at least like this they prove there really are holes in the security.

You sound just like someone from lulzsec.
If someone is about to die in front of you, would you kill him to make sure someone else doesn't?

Also, if you would hack into something to prove that there are holes, you are white-hated. I think [Anonymous] are either grey- or black-hated.

Is their motive actually known?

lol sadly i am not really a hacker even thaught i would like to be able to hack ^^

and well yes if i would be certain someone would die i would actually preffer killing him instead of having him endure the pain any more, i would only not do it cuz i know i would go into jail for "helping".

and yeah better someone "good" does this "bad" thing than someone bad uses it to do even worse.

Every White Hat hacker is likely trained in the ways of Black and Grey hats.

It's natural for this to be the case, as you have to learn how to be one in order to stop them.

Hacking is a grey area when brought into full generalization, there are two distant sides to it, the good side or the white hat side, and the evil black hat side. You're better off remaining in the middle and acting like a White Hat imho.
