Another cancelled Crash Bandicoot title surfaces.

Sometime back in 2008/2009, Renegade Kid, the developer of Mutant Mudds, was contracted by Activision to develop another portable entry for Crash Bandicoot series. Eventually the game was cancelled, however, a video of a demo playing on the DS has surfaced recently. You may watch the video below.

Again, huh?

Although it was just a demo it looked more promising than Crash of the Titans and Mind over Mutant. The article assumes it could have a potential sequel to the latter. If it was then maybe it's actually good it never made it to market.

Well I'm glad. Crash and Spyro are great treasures that should not be touched. Sad both franchises went to the wrong hands. It's funny that I have never played any Crash and Spyro game beginning with the PS2 era (except Year of the Dragonfly, which was insulting) and I'm glad I never.

It's sad to see this. Crash Bandicoot was a good series, and something like this doing well could have probably generated a better outcome than what actually happened to the series.

I miss the the spyro series It's strange that Spyro hasn't made it to the PSVita's PlayStation Store. I hope it comes to the PlayStation store soon.

It's ridiculous that they don't, Spyro 3 is an amazing game. I'd put it over Super Mario 64 and it's one of the best games I've ever played.

It's also aged beautifully and the other 2 aren't bad either.
