I'm now in the market for a set of bluetooth earphones (IEMs) with a budget of £150.

Are there any within this budget which can be recommended? Preferably not bass heavy, no hard 'collar' but like having a cable between the earbuds and built in remote.

I'm currently considering the Bose SoundSport Bluetooth but I'm wondering if similar or better quality can be found for less:

Thank you.

My recommendation is this:
- Buy GOOD HEADPHONES
- Buy a Bluetooth Receiver/Receptor

- Sold everything together and voilá... yout own AND BETTER Bluetooth Headphones.

That was my preferred option, except most of the adapters I've seen/tried had one flaw or another e.g. older BT standard, L/R audio flipped, no clip, no controls, volume too loud, etc.

Well yes, technical issues here and there.
But I think that, if you can solder or have decent soldering skills you can make your DREAM headphones for much cheaper than already made BT Headphones.

I tend to buy Headphones in the Flea Market near my house. Sometimes I get them much cheaper than half a dollar.
Sometimes they just need soldering. But once I fix them, I can have another nice pair of Headphones.

Sadly I'm lacking them.

@SylverReZ, I dislike the kind of drm where you have to play single player games online all the time bc of some verification bs

@Xdqwerty, Don't use games that have Easy Anti-Cheat as its been exploited many times.

@SylverReZ, I also heard one of the Prince of Persia games was so unfinished that it required the "24/7 online" drm so a puzzle could be done and the game could be finished. And that when the Ubisoft servers were closed the (cracked) game was impossible to finish or something like that
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, That's extra scummy. Ubisoft nowadays ship out incomplete games like Skull and Bones which was being worked on for nearly a decade now.

Either that or their old games were unfinished aswell but we can't notice it

I like that games can be fixed after the fact, hate that it's being abused via beta tests... And DLC... I was a 7800 owner back in the day and loved Impossible Mission, turns out I couldn't beat it because it was actually impossible lol
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I never knew about it at the time but a fixed version was available but you had to mail in your broken copy lol
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
So that version is semi rare

@Psionic Roshambo, I have a rom of the ds version of impossible mission
