For the past few weeks, I've wanted to patch the mods on the title into WBFS files, so I could have all of them at the same time on CFG USB Loader, but I've only found a way to patch older SSBB mods (BrawlBuilder), which didn't work with these mods. So I wanna know if there is any way to patch them into WBFS, as it was possible with Project M and some other mods.

Thanks in advance :)

Bumping this thread in the hopes that someone will have the answer, or explanation as to why it's not currently possible.

I'm enjoying the simplicity of playing Mario Kart Wii Deluxe, Newer Super Mario Bros. and Project M from patched WBFS files ... I would love to see these more current mods follow suit.

Thanks

My understanding is that the major mods broke image building either directly or as a side effect of anti-piracy protection, for that reason. I get that coders need to cover themselves and therefore can't distribute modified ISOs, but it's not a big endeavor (and personally riskless) to make a modification compatible with image building and point to correct post-patch crcs.

It's silly. And probably a significant contribution to making the brawl smash mod scene hopelessly fragmented now. Speaking personally, I have a Brawl mod on my main Wii SD, but when I prepare Wiis for friends I don't bother, it's not worth spending more for a larger SD card on a per-Wii basis *just* for the Brawl mod.

I hate ordering stuff online if I can go buy it somewhere close to me, and everywhere anymore will give you a discount only if you order it online, bs. Should be a discount if I go pick it up, not order online.

I love it for most things most stores you just shows the receipt online and they scan it

Makes it easy for incompetent restaurant staff that don't know how to hear an order
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Mostly for big purchases, I want it in my hands before I pay. Like a tv, I trust picking it up myself, before I'd trust it being sent thru mail/delivery. (Broken screen, etc) But yea if I can order online, then pickup at store is ok, but not all places offer that.

Thing is, if you break it driving back to your house, it's your fault. But if the delivery driver damages it, it's not your fault.

Most people that haul big tvs have empty trucks or know enough not to set it face down
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Then I gotta send it back and wait another week or two. I have a pickup truck, with a extended cab, so no prob for me.
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
Most manufacturers pack it well enough where they aren't that dumb to let it happen

Kinda cool, I can buy a second Xbox for guests, and download all my purchased digital games to it, and play on both xboxs same time. Didn't know they allowed that. 2 xboxs per Xbox account.

Is crazy to think, you used to be able to build a decent PC for $300-400. Those days are way gone.
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
$600 gets you a decent one
