Banned from Arcade after losing in Hangman

I finished Mario Star Scramble playing as a guest (didn't realize I was logged out), then logged in at the error page, and promptly got banned for cheating. What's up with that?

I didn't even get the high score, was redirected quite suddenly after fighting Bowser.

Besides, isn't banning immediately a little extreme? It would make more sense to just block score submissions.

I'm trying to adjust the system so that it's not so ban happy but it stil needs to remain strict.
