I recently purchased a Samsung Galaxy S9 specifically to emulate the original Animal Crossing on the go. Trouble is, I’m finding it’s not quite up to the task. I’ve done everything I can with settings in Dolphin but it just can’t quite hold a stable frame rate. Lots of stuttering both visual and audio. So my question is does anyone have any experience with Dolphin on Android (specifically with Animal Crossing) I plan to purchase another phone but I don’t want to spend an insane amount of money. Just something that’ll run the game fairly smoothly.

Samsung has 2 variants of procesor of Galaxy S series depending on market. Exynos processor is bad choice for emulation. Search for phones with Snapdragon at least 855, or try Dolphin MMJ builds for better performance. I have Oneplus 7T and it works great with emulators like Dolphin and Citra.
