Hacking Best flashcard to purchase for 3DS?

Well, that depends. The R4i Gold 3DS from r4ids.cn is not bad, extremely cheap and has pretty decent support. The R4i DSN is a "sister" cart to that R4i Gold, and is just as good.

The Acekard and the DSTWO are still much better, of course, even after factoring in affordability. And the rest of the R4is (including other "R4i Gold"s) *are* terrible indeed, as asserted above.

yeah i have a dstwo and i love it ,not got a 3ds yet ,but maybe this week ,now that zelda is out ,
but anyone know if the ex4i has droped in price?
that can do alot of what dstwo can but i would go with dstwo ,but im just saying id he doesnt want to spend the money maybe the ex41 has come down to 20 bucks somewhere and can play gba

That works only on the DS and DSL? Good job in a suggestion for a 3DS flashcart

Acekard 2i or the SuperCard DSTwo. I'd suggest the iEvo, but currently not that big an advantage from DSi mode compared to the DSTwo processor..

As far as cards go,

Acekard 2i (new rev) can still work in a 3DS and would be the one card to go if battery life is a concern (it will be with a 3DS - it's one reason I bought the Nyko Battery).

Supercard DStwo if you want to still play the GBA stuff and has a good hardware emulator for SNES... and just really good homebrew all around. Can even load up Mame4all and get it on with some older arcade roms

CycloDS iEvo would be a must if you intend on playing any DSi mode stuff (Black/White and a few others). Last I recall though, the current firmware for the iEvo unfortunately was limited to DSi mode only in the 3DS, but unlike the above others, the iEvo comes with that hockey puck-looking UFO that can then be used to update the cart outside of a console.

Actually he can get the pre-flashed card now, you need a DS to update the card because the card you have is an old R4i gold card , now they have updated it to R4i gold 3DS now

Yes, Acekard 2i and DSTwo are same as well
