Hi

I am a former SX OS user and now trying to convert to Atmosphere
I read a couple of guide and now I manage to set up Atmosphere 19.4 on emunand
I use the latest version Hekate
It seem to work
I was able to install the latest version of the switch OS 12.0.3 on the emunand

In the guide I follow I did not found how to install NSP on the emunand
Right now none of my games installed previously with sx os works
I find some hard to follow guide on woo installer or tinfoil
I would like to know what it the best/easiest way to install NSP with Atmosphere
I will try to find a guide or if you can give me some hints

Thank you for the help

If previously installed games aren't working, you need to install the proper signature patches.

https://github.com/ITotalJustice/patches/releases/latest

I recommend using TinWoo or Awoo-Installer to install new NSP files. You can use Blawar's Tinfoil for Tinfoil shops, but it doesn't play well with a lot of NSP files you will download manually, which is why TinWoo and Awoo-Installer are recommended.

I added the tinfoil 12.0 nro file into the switch folder on the sd card
I see the program in the hbmenu but when I try to launch it
I have a black screen and then I go back into the hbmenu, and nothing happen.
In hbmenu it show tinfoil version 11.0 even if I downloaded the version 12.0
Do you know why this is happening and what should I do to make it work ?

Blawar's Tinfoil nro just installed the app to your home menu. You have to launch it from the home menu after it installs.

If you don't have the proper signature patches, Tinfoil will not install properly.

Having exactly the same problems as the op with exactly the same setup. No XCI or NSP files installed from SXOS work at all. Awoo gives an invalid NCA with a load of NPS that worked fine in SXOS. Trying DBI now and although it seems to install everything I have tried, non of it launches.

Using the sig patches linked above which I guess are working as I can launch Crash 4 and Tony Hawk's. Everything else I have tried gives a 'could not start the software' error message.

It seems any original XCI dumps, or anything converted in any way is useless to me at this point, is that the case?

Thanks

Edit: installed these and everyting is working as it should be:

I was able to see and open tinfoil I think after installing those sig patch

https://gbatemp.net/threads/sigpatc...te-fss0-fusee-primary-fusee-secondary.571543/

but now I have an error saying the installation is corrupted
and it telling I should not use hekate but instead I should fusee gelee primary

I think I will try to reinstall the app but do you guys use hekate or fusee gell to launch atmosphere ?

I second DBI installer. I also used it to clean up useless tickets and such.

Fusee secondary is working fine for me with the sig patches I linked. Mario Golf gave a few hash mismatches in DBI installer, but it installed and plays fine.

dbi was easy to use and I was able to install a small nsp file
but I have some larger than 4gb nsp that I would like to install but they are too big for the FAT32 file system limit.
Do you know any way to get around this
what do you do when dealing with 4gb + files

thank you

Install over USB. For DBI I use its MTP server feature, and just drag the nsp file on my computer to the MTP mount point marked "SD Install".

My SD card is FAT32 and I have no problem installing anything over 4GB to it. I just ran the server on Windows 10 and added the files. No special settings or anything.
