Hi..

A couple of years ago i started making my own Wii channels for Wii games on my Wii U using the WiiVC Injector.

The channels looked OK. I was able to extract the banner soundtrack for eacch game and bundle it in to the WiiVC file for each game. Which was neat. However i think its takes quite a lot of time to extract the iso, then extract the banner files, then compile the WiiVC ISO. Then install. - I'd like the same HDD used for both Wii & Wii U Games.

Is there a better solution in 2022 than me doing:
Parition the external HDD in to 2 paritions.
Let the Wii U format one partition, - Let the Wii format the other partition.
Set up a USB Loader GX Forwader on Wii U side. Probably this one :https://gbatemp.net/threads/usb-loader-gx-forwarder-channel-for-wii-u-menu.482595/

I remember years back doing this but will have to try and remember / locate the method for splitting the partitions successfully.

The wii doesn't format a hdd. Convert the wii isos with this tool, copy these to your sd and install them. And then you habe all your wii games in your wii u os. Plus, you can boot them from there ;)
The tool you linked is very similar to WiiVC Injector which isn’t what I’m looking for. - I located a spare 512GB Micro SD (which didn’t work even with setting 32K cluster and FAT32) so used another spare 128Gb Micro SD instead. - Got Wiiflow set up and will look to set up a channel forwarder using WiiVC. Click on the forwarder to WiiFlow. Done. - I don’t want to waste loads of time creating all Wii games as WiiVC’s within Wii U. It’s just too time consuming.

the propietary nintendo format doesn't have a partition table from what I've heard you can't format it without formatting the entire drive
