So this was an interesting weekend, fo sheezy. Friday night, had to work at my part time job (a bar down the street as bar-back. I’m the bitch that gets the beer from the walk-in fridge to bring up to the quick-stock fridges in the bars, and i take care of a lot of the dishes, and any little shit that happens. I’m also some of the “muscle” there, but thats because i’m 6’4”, and they don’t fully understand my geek ways-of-life
) and it was effin busy. The interesting piece from that night- For the second time in my life, i re-tried a little coke. And i remembered why i had only done it once in my life before
Coke is pointless. It was some “decent” stuff (as EVERYONE calls their own supply
), and it was “better” than the first time i did it, but wow. What a fucking waste of money. Luckily, i didn’t drop any cash for it, it was provided by someone else. I like the “upper” feel, but not when:
a- i have to blow it. First, stings. Second, like with a nasal spray, it runs down your throat, and that bugs me.
b- it only lasts for a short amount of time before having to ‘re-apply.’
c- it only really speeds up the heart rate and makes me jittery. I was jittery like chugging 4 redbulls (in a row, in under 5 minutes. I know, i’ve done that
), but my heart was going about 2x as fast, and i was sweating like a fiend.
Really, for uppers, i like Aderall, but that’s a once in a while kind of thing (every few months, maybe?) and i had tried coke once about 6 years ago.
(also, Wife® was aware prior that i had done it, and that it was around, so she doesn’t care, and she knows that especially after this weekend, thats not something she needs to worry about
)
Then, Saturday afternoon, went and saw Zach & Miri Make A Porno. Great movie. Kevin Smith constantly entertains me, and this one didn’t let down. Its not in his standard View-Askewniverse setting (Clerks through J&SB:SB ... and then Clerks 2
), so, no Jay and Silent Bob or any reoccurring characters from those movies, but there are still wonderful Smith-isms abound.
That night, had to work at the bar again, and it was a slow-assed night. Wife® and a few friends came in, had a drink and slid back out, so that was a nice break. Did some Kareoke (25 or 6 to 4 by Chicago, if you must know
) and cleaned shit up. The interesting part of the day (and one of those standard working-at-a-bar story, but it finally happened to me hah!), happened about an hour after closing. Kinda hot bartender chick (would be really hot if she didn’t give me a bitchy attitude the first night i worked with her heh) was on Sat. night. We were shootin the shit for a while during the dead times, and i got to find out more of her past. Well, long story short (not that our talking has anything to do with this), we were all gathered in the back bar an hour after closing, as we usually do, and talk of her tattoos came up. She started talking about the one that wraps under her left breast, ahe lifted her shirt, and when that didn’t work --- BAM topless. So we all sat around whilst she stood and explained her kickass ink whilst ta-ta’s were bouncing around. (Yea, i know, not a HUGE thing, but for once its not a “i heard of these things happening!” kinda dealy.)
then finaly, on Sunday, hit up a used game store (that does rentals as well), rented Dead Space for the 360 (kickass game, by the way) and asked about used PSPs. He said he had a used Fat for $110. I took a look at it, killer condition and everything was there. I said “Well, i’ might be back later for this.” And he said “We do have a no-interest lay-away.” I paused (cause i really don’t have money for a new system
), and said “ooo, might have to do that soon.” Then Wife® pulled out some cash, and put money down on it. What i didn’t know, she was planning on getting me a used PSP fat for Christmas (and she was looking for a Fat so i’d have an easier time hacking it lol. she kicks ass!). When she heard about the price and lay-away at this place, she had to think “Do i keep the surprise and take the chance this won’t be here later in the week? or do i say ‘fuck the surprise’ and make sure i get this one for him?” She went with the latter (YAY FOR ME!) so i’m getting a PSP for Christmas (or maybe sooner...?), saw a co-workers jigglies, did coke again (and wont again
) and saw Zach & Miri.
All in all, a successful weekend, eh?
