I recently bought a small blue tooth dongle on e-bay for 3 dollars so I can connect my switch joycons on a joycon driver. However, when it arrived I tried to test it out on my pc but nothing happened. I tried manually updating the "Generic Bluetooth Radio" via Device manager but it said that it is up to date but it still has a yellow triangle with an exclamation mark on it. When I checked the e-bay listing I noticed it said it supports windows vista to 8, but not windows 10 which is what I'm currently using. Does anybody know if there is a way to make the dongle work on my windows 10. If it supposedly does work on windows 8 shouldn't it work on 10 as well?

Not nessicerilly, because that's why compatibility mode for programs exist

But I have to ask though, did you not notice win 10 was not in the list of supported OS?

Btw, the actual dongle name would help, maybe even the listing
