brighter screen?

in the battery mark v2 app if u go to display settings there’s an option to turn the brightness up way past max, aside from obv worse battery life would i be damaging the screen/console to leave it at max? like will i burn out the backlight or anything?

It can potentially damage the LCD backlight or the PMIC which handles the power rail. So i would not recommend going higher than the maximum brightness from HOME menu.
