Gaming Call of Duty MW3 Hardened Edition Map Code Expiry Date

Hi,

I was thinking of getting this but a friend told me that the codes for the map packs ect. expire on the 8th of November.

That can't be right can it?

Can anyone confirm when the map codes expire because it would be a waste of money to get this edition if that were the case.

First of all, the code is not for the maps, it's for a premium membership for COD elite (Which makes you get the maps free) IIRC. Second, I don't think there's any expiry date for the code, since my black ops hardened code worked for me after I activated 1 month after black ops' official release date.

PS: If I'm wrong, then please correct me.

Well the hardend edition is actually some kind of limited edition so i don't think they would sell the hardend edition a month after the release...

The game wasn't released a month ago though. It was released ~2 days ago as far as I knew.

WTH, the game was released on NOVEMBER 8th, how can it expire OCTOBER 9th? If you meant 9 october 2012, then I'm sorry...

2012 would be more realistic, but a month after the release date? That's ludicrous!

most likly those cards were printed a month ago and packaged
