So the title says it all. I tried installing a different version of tinfoil because mine wasn't working well, and fater I did so I could no longer access the homebrew menu, neither by pressing r while loading a game nor by trying to access by the album option on the menu. I'm sure I have the correct sigpatches and have done a clean install of atmosphere 1.3.2 and updated the bootloader with hekate 5.7.2, but still no dice. Does anyone know what I can do to manage getting to the homebrew menu? All my games work fine, btw.

is hbmenu.nro present on your sd card root directory? also try to reinstall latest release of atmosphere, maybe something got corrupted since it stopped working after you try to install tinfoil.
Turns out you were right. I must've deleted the hbmenu.nro by accident and doing a cleean install of atmosphere with the sigpatches did the trick. Thanks a ton!

Eventhough the New 3DS XL is more powerful, I still feel like the DS Lite was a more polished system. It's a real shame that it never got an XL variant keeping the GBA slot. @Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.+1 -

Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.

@BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60
