Carl Weathers has died at the age of 76

This news really sucks as the guy looked healthy to live for many years to come.

He had a good innings. He did a whole bunch of great stuff in both films & tv. Went peacefully in his sleep at 76 is a good way to go imo. A true icon for a lot of folks.

A sad day indeed not only did we lose an awesome actor in Carl Weathers we also lost British TV legend Jonnie Irwin.

I'm not one of those guys who tries to rationalize "Rocky" as one of the great film series. Entertaining stuff, but "The Godfather" it ain't if ya know what I'm sayin'. Still, Carl Weathers put on a damned fine performance as Apollo Creed. Especially in the first movie. RIP dude. I'd like to make it a few more years than that, but that's sure not the worst way to go.
