So I installed the Cemu emulator because I wanted to be able to play Wind Waker and Twilight Princess and ever since then my pc is struggling to run 100 frames on games like csgo. I have no idea what the issue is or if the emulator is even the issue so if anyone can help me get some closure on this it would be really appreciated

It is your computer not able to run at the fps you desired pretty much.

If you think it's cemu then why not uninstall it and see if the pc would perform as it was.
I dont think its Cemu but I just wanted to make sure it isn't.

And I mainly posted about because I wanted to figure out what the issue actually is.

Well, if the performance suddenly dropped out of nowhere. It could be anything, either hardware or software. Check logs, do the virus & malware scan, take out and reseat the components, y'know standard stuff. And finally everyone fav, reinstalling windows!

But yeah, it's CEMU.

BTW, post the PC spec too when it comes t0 stuff like this.

I think it's your computer being old. No piece of software will slow down your PC unless it's a virus or an executable that takes up a lot of resources, like an emulator that's running. Is CEMU running in the background?
I uninstalled it and its still having issues.

Eventhough the New 3DS XL is more powerful, I still feel like the DS Lite was a more polished system. It's a real shame that it never got an XL variant keeping the GBA slot. You'd have to go on AliExpress and buy an ML shell to give a DS phat the unofficial "DS Lite" treatment, and that's the best we'll ever get I'm afraid.

The phat model had amazingly loud speakers tho.

@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.

They probably said "Hey, why not we combine the two together and make a 'new' DS to sell".
  • Veho @ Veho:
It's a DS Lite in a slightly bigger DS Lite shell.

    It's not a Nintendo / iQue official product, it's a 3rd party custom.

Nothing special about it other than it's more comfortable than the Lite
