If you on windows put the selected files into the Citra Main folder, But you can read his edited PR also on this.

Edit: Package Mingw build uploaded for now
https://www26.zippyshare.com/v/tAm5sCIC/file.html

(Note) MSVC builds are not fixed ATM, Maybe later of them..
-----

Maybe they should pull to include these dll's in future..

Why it does not contain citra head exe which can use for drag and drop game file?

Nice thanks, I'll post a build later with latest updated coding of that PR in MSVC had to do some editing with paths for acc audio, "Also try and put the frame limiter on to 100%" the FMV video skip just helps the first video boost.

F*ck me that FMV hack goes!.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

I use Citra (https://ci.appveyor.com/project/bunnei/citra/builds/21039832), with bin and save game ok
But not save, game does not pass the screen black

Help Me !

Looks like it's his own build without that PR added.

Hello! In this thread, I found the version of the emulator Citra-CC-Mingw_18_01_2018. I'm looking for an assembly for more stable Fire Emblem Echoes. Maybe there is a newer version of this assembly? Or some other, made specifically for FEE? A couple of pages back, the user laid out the builds for jrpg, but, unfortunately, are they only for Linux, OSX. maybe there is windows?
Update. Sorry, i did not notice that there is a version for Windows but older ones. I checked, still rejoining Mingw_18_01_2018 the work is much better. Tell me, maybe you need to somehow configure the emulator for FEE?

I'm not sure what the issue was with this game in question ?, but this new build was not a full one and just helps pokemon X/Y maybe other games.

For now you can replace this new citra_qt.exe with the latest package .exe file.
https://drive.google.com/open?id=1qyQJGuoICoSkQefXScF8eIFNQT1kPx-y

This one I added N3DS memory to run new 3ds games, I know FEW works with that.

Also yes it can do PM X/Y too.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

It seems that this is the best version, overcomes the black screen, No need to save game
Combined with bin folder will play Pokemon X smoothly

Wow working without the audio too!, don't seem you added the Dll's to main Citra folder.

I'm not sure what the issue was with this game in question ?
bugs with sound. With an increase in the resolution of 15-10 fps, also a bug with the game hanging on the third dialogue. This happens in all versions of the emulator, except for the version from 18.01. There are stable 30 -60 fps, almost no bugs with sound. I downloaded the file, but there was an error replacing it in the original software. Can you please post a full batch of files with this exe?

Or can I try to throw directly into the folder version from 18.01?

No the dlls and files have changed, it just drag and copy over latest files, and drag and drop in same folder and replace the .exe

This will not fix the audio issues, but as increase of fps I could have mergedhttps://github.com/sickc/citra/commit/7f72e08df37f6fafcf5424542ad352688a69bdb5

Over time it might need a rework be for merging.

Anyway the newer version

Maybe try Citra-CC-MSVC-PT2_16_12_2018

Unfortunately, the same thing. I'm still playing on the version from 18.01, it goes great. I'm really interested in how the new versions differ from the old. Maybe there are some graphical functions in new versions?

yall im torn... ive been hacking away at tales of phantasia GBA (the USA version) and have so many documents of reverse engineering i've done
  • TwoSpikedHands @ TwoSpikedHands:
I just found out that the EU version is better in literally every way, better sound quality, better lighting, and there's even a patch someone made to make the text look nicer
  • TwoSpikedHands @ TwoSpikedHands:
Do I restart now using what i've learned on the EU version since it's a better overall experience? or do I continue with the US version since that is what ive been using, and if someone decides to play my hack, it would most likely be that version?
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
@TwoSpikedHands, I'll preface this with the fact that I know nothing about the game, but, I think it depends on what your goals are. Are you trying to make a definitive version of the game? You may want to refocus your efforts on the EU version then. Or, are you trying to make a better US version? In which case, the only way to make a better US version is to keep on plugging away at that one ;)
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
I'm not familiar with the technicalities of the differences between the two versions, but I'm wondering if at least some of those differences are things that you could port over to the US version in your patch without having to include copyrighted assets from the EU version
  • TwoSpikedHands @ TwoSpikedHands:
@Sicklyboy I am wanting to fully change the game and bend it to my will lol. I would like to eventually have the ability to add more characters, enemies, even have a completely different story if i wanted. I already have the ability to change the tilemaps in the US version, so I can basically make my own map and warp to it in game - so I'm pretty far into it!
  • TwoSpikedHands @ TwoSpikedHands:
I really would like to make a hack that I would enjoy playing, and maybe other people would too. swapping to the EU version would also mean my US friends could not legally play it
  • TwoSpikedHands @ TwoSpikedHands:
I am definitely considering porting over some of the EU features without using the actual ROM itself, tbh that would probably be the best way to go about it... but i'm sad that the voice acting is so.... not good on the US version. May not be a way around that though
  • TwoSpikedHands @ TwoSpikedHands:
    I appreciate the insight!
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
@TwoSpikedHands just switch, all the knowledge you learned still applies and most of the code and assets should be the same anyway
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
    and realistically they wouldn't

be able to play it legally anyway since they need a ROM and they probably don't have the means to dump it themselves
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
why the shit does the shitbox randomly insert newlines in my messages

It does that when I edit a post.

It inserts a newline in a random spot.

do y'all think having an sd card that has a write speed of 700kb/s is a bad idea?

  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
@Karma177 that sd card is 100% faulty so yes, its a bad idea
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
even the slowest non-sdhc sd cards are a few MB/s
  • Karma177 @ Karma177:
@The Real Jdbye it hasn't given me any error trying to write things on it so I don't really think it's faulty (pasted 40/50gb+ folders and no write errors)
