Gambia, The
It is also already set to DSP. Also tried NULL.
Oh forgot to mention. I am using the CIA version.

Edit:
I could solve the problem. My GBA_BIOS had the wrong name.
After renamig it to gba_bios.dat I could start the emulation.

Just as info for other users. The Bios has to be placed in:

sdmc:/retroarch/cores/system

Change to one of the previous builds.
1.3.6 is somewhat stable but not that much, and not even mention the nightlies.
Try 1.3.3.
dosen't work either .. )=
this is what happens , i open gpsp or pcsx rearmed => 3ds logo => black screen => back to the 3ds menu with an error forcing me to reboot the console

Are you sure you have the gba_bios.bin file inside /retroarch/cores/system?
You are trying to run gpsp right?
yup i do have gba_bios.bin named correctly and put on the right folder i can't get to the retroarch menus its just a black screen then back to the system menu with that error
and yea gpsp is what i am trying to run ,mgba works fine
pcsx rearmed also has the same problem as gpsp

edit : btw i am on emunand running luma3ds , i don't have a9lh

That's really weird.
I would suggest that you clean up the system of everything RetroArch related.
Delete the /retroarch/ folder from the SD, delete the CIAs, then start again.
Install the CIAs again and copy the bios again once the folders are generated.

I remember I had a similar issue but can't remember what I did to fix it.
Try making two folders, /retroarch/system/ and /retroarch/cores/system, copy the bios into both folders and try again ?
can't gpsp run without bios ? i mean just to the menus , because my problem is that i can't even get to the menus where you can launch a game
anyways just tried making 2 folders same problem

it should let you into the menu at least.
how are you deleting the CIA? Through FBI/BBM?
I'd recommend any of he two, and try different builds of gpsp.
Go through the stable ones since 1.3.3 up to 1.3.6.
There has to be some sort of setting which is doing that, like the default menu type or the assets folder or something.

yes i delete my cias with fbi , btw i also tried running the 3dsx through Homebrewlauncher same problem but in hbl it just shows a black screen no error or anything
edit : deleted retroarch folder and downloaded 1.3.4 , launching gpsp dosen't create the retroarch folder , and it dosen't get to the retroarch menu instead it again shows the error
launching mgba though creates the retroarch folder , and it runs games normally

Well that's odd haha.
So mGBA does run but both PSX Reamrmed and gpsp do not?
