Which base did you put into slot 249??
56-58-59?

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

So I must have a folder named covers on the root of the sd and in that folder i must put only the covers and cd images from the games I have on my hdd and just put them all together in the folder, or in sub maps ?
No, if you're using CFG USB Loader, there should be a folder named USB or something like that, open it and there should be a sub-folder called COVERS, and that folder will contain MORE subfolders... called 2D and Disk and 3D and Front and Back and things like that

Put the files in each one you like

Okay, so I must make a folder named USB and there I put the sub folders with the covers inside, then it should work in CFG loader too, I try when I have time, and let you know if it's working, thank you.

Hey all. I've been having issues loading games from USB this morning. For the past few days everything's worked fine, then suddenly all my games decided to stop working. Gamecube games still work through Nintendon't, but when booted through cfg they freeze when initializing IOS58. I've got the hermes IOSs over 222-224 (38 v4, 37-38 v4, and 57 v5.1r, respectively) and d2x v10 beta53 over 247-251 (57-247, 56-248, 56-249, 57-250, 58-251), as well as all the IOSs from ModMii's updater. I've tried clearing the configurable usb loader config to no luck. I'm basically at my wits end over this one. I'd include the syscheck log, but for some reason it doesn't include the IOSs installed, just the total number (48, with 4 stubs). There are 136 titles, in case that's relevant.

Any help you all could provide would be great. I'm pulling my hair out over this one, it really makes no sense for it to be so uncooperative when I was playing Wii games from it yesterday.

Hello,

@3l3tric :

Install the version of cios d2x v10 beta 52, you will have more result.

The version of the cios d2x v10 beta 53 is more suitable for port 1 of the Wii.

Hm, games are still refusing to boot.
I think I should mention, my gamecube games are on SD card and they also refuse to boot through cfg loader. I'm wondering if it's somehow an issue with the loader config itself, I'll back up the current app and try reinstalling through ModMii to see if that works.

What version of Configurable USB Loader are you using because IIRC not every version will work with Nintendont.

Edit: nm I see they worked before so that can't be it.

So, I finally got the issue fixed. I had cfgusbloader installed to the flash drive I had the Wii games stored on as well as to the sd card, and I think somehow they may have been interfering with each other. Since I didn't need to store any GC games on the drive, I decided to just format it into WBFS and recopy my games to it, after which it started working fine with Wii titles, I haven't tried GC again yet, but I'd assume they'd work considering they worked through nintendon't directly this whole time.

If anyone else has similar issues, and you're trying to use some kind of NTFS/FAT setup with WBFS folders, I'd highly discourage this because it brought me nothing but headaches.

For what I understood on what I DID on my Wii, cIOS d2x turns the front SD card reader into an accesible slot for any sort of backup. Something that Hermes's and Waninkoko's cIOS couldn't do.
All you had to do was to install cIOS d2X ver 10 beta 52 on Base IOS 56 on Slot 249, thus your wii would be able to READ FROM SD in FAT format.

I just installed that and now I can play Gamecube ISO's and Wii Backups on WBFS format from my FAT32 SD Card.

You just created the headaches for yourself.
Nobody told me this 2 weeks ago, when I attempted this, so a couple of hours of Google searching could've saved you some days of useless work.

When someone told me above to downgrade to beta52, I did that exactly on slots 247-251. I used base 57 for 247 & 250, 56 for 248&249, and 58 for 251. I was able to read from the SD card fine with Nintendon't, but when I'd try to boot the same GC games from the SD card they'd still freeze. More than likely it was just removing the files from the USB that would've fixed the problem, but with this setup if need be I can use NeoGamma for loading Wii titles. You are right that I caused these headaches for myself by not taking enough time to try to install everything properly the first time.

Can anyone explain why I'm suddenly getting a "Custom IOS 249 is a stub" error even though I didn't change anything and it worked perfectly before
