Hi all

Ordered my self an Ez3 in 1 and a laser pen on the 17/09/08 and its now 1 month later and still nothing!

The problem is that i payed via my brothers paypal which i do have access too but when i go to DX to complain i have to input an order number!!! i payed via paupal so don't have one.

So now what?

I tryed any old number just so it would send and had all the dates and paypal nubers and so on to back up my order but without the official DX recept i am stuck.

Any suggestions or another way to contact them anyone?

paul

You should have got an order confirmation from DX as well as a PayPal confirmation from PayPal. The DX order number is in the DX order confirmation email.

No worries mate, sorry I can't be of more help. The only other thing I can think of is phoning them but that's a bit of a costly option!

Deal extreme actually takes a very long time to ship out there stuff...about 3 weeks. Have you bother checking the local post office in case they are holding it until you go get it? That happened to me once because they tried to contact me 3 times but I wasn't home. (they didn't even bother giving a yellow slip to contact me it was there =/)

I've order from them over 5 times now I think... Some were less then 2 bucks and some were more then 50 bucks. They just have slow shipping, if you don't get it within 14 business days after shipment go here.

I odered a few things off them as well, so did my buddy - he advised me that they are very slow before i ordered.
He was right - You will get the stuff , but they are very slow.

Great deals , but be prepared to wait for them im afraid - you can track things but it wont speed it up. I think they send out a courrier with each sale on foot and you just have to wait.

@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.

@SylverReZ if you could find a v5 DS ML you would have the best of both worlds since the v5 units had the same backlight brightness levels as the DS Lite unlockable with flashme

A woman with no arms and no legs was sitting on a beach. A man comes along and the woman says, "I've never been hugged before." So the man feels bad and hugs her. She says "Well i've also never been kissed before." So he gives her a kiss on the cheek. She says "Well I've also never been fucked before." So the man picks her up, and throws her in the ocean and says "Now you're fucked."

anyways, we need to re-normalize physical media

if i didn't want my games to be permanent, then i'd rent them

Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.

@BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM
  • cearp @ cearp:
You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60

    :rofl2:
  • cearp @ cearp:
still, I agree physical media is nice to have. just pointing out the issue is drm
  • rqkaiju2 @ rqkaiju2:
i like physical media because it actually feels like you own it. thats why i plan on burning music to cds
  • cearp @ cearp:
It's nice to not have to have a lot of physical things though, saves space
