you can get dark souls and other 360 and ps3 ports for cheaper on those consoles and pc and the switch versions only have slight upgrade over the last gen versions.
Slight? I wouldn't call dedicated servers for online play and the chance to play a souls game with a big influx of brand new players a slight improvement. Save money and buy a dead game with no players or buy a new game with lots of players and dedicated servers.you can get dark souls and other 360 and ps3 ports for cheaper on those consoles and pc and the switch versions only have slight upgrade over the last gen versions.
It's worth mentioning this is coming out for basically everything, not just the Switch. Even PC will get the remaster.@SoslanVanWieren Why do you keep making threads telling people what to do all the time?
Let's be honest, everyone can do whatever they want. If someone wants Dark Souls on the Switch, even for home use, who are you to tell them they shouldn't get it? Most people already have the last gen ports and may be interested in getting the Switch version for updated features, online, etc. or they had no way to play the game on other systems (eg: those without a WiiU that want BotW can get it on Switch). Also, support for things like Dark Souls on Switch will actually be a thing compared to the dead support for PC version for example.
I'd usually agree with this, but the Switch is different. It's the perfect console to buy for ports, since you can free them from the tether of a home console and play them anywhere. People keep complaining about ports, but honestly? People complained at a lack of third party support for the Wii U, seeing all these companies wanting to test the water isn't a bad thing. I suppose those who primarily use their Switch as a home console may be inclined to disagree though.Who buys a Nintendo console for ports anyway?
I agree. I mainly have my PC for gaming, but it's a desktop, so portable devices or small home systems that can play the same games are a great thing to have, so I won't have to spend holidays and stuff without my games when I have to go to my mother's.I'd usually agree with this, but the Switch is different.
