I was pretty annoyed by DOOM's long intro video (41 seconds!) so I tried to use LayeredFS to skip those videos, and it works fine.
How to install:
1) Download and extract the zip
2) Copy the "contents" folder to /atmosphere/ on your SD (If you use ReiNX or an older Atmosphere version, you have to rename "contents" to "titles" first!)
That's it, as long as layeredFS is enabled, it will load the a replacement intro video that's much shorter.
Replacing the video with an empty file works as well, but that will break the loading screen and you'll have a black screen until the menu is fully loaded.
The game already starts loading during the video, but it's so long that it takes longer to finish the video than to actually load the menu.
In my case (SD card with 95mb/s read), my total loading time went from 48s to 30s, from starting the game to having the menu loaded and ready.
