Well it won't have the full CTRXplorer functionality for various reasons, but it will allow you to get anything from and put anything on your NAND partitions, without a PC and full partition dumping. So, it will be a mighty tool.
Shouldn't it have a more humble name like CTRNandExplorer then?

Humility? Never! :)

Jokes aside, I think GodMode9 is a good name. Plus, fitting icons and gfx are already included.

This was first called GodMode Explorer, which would be a more fitting name, but too clunky. Then I called it GMXplorer, but, that doesn't sound right at all. Any further associations with CTRXplorer are not a good idea either, cause I don't want people (noobs, especially) to think that this is meant as a replacement.

The idea for this name, btw, came from Windows 7 GodMode, which is a special configuration dialogue which gives you access to some normally unavailable features, some of which are somewhat dangerous.

SSJGODMode9!!!

Edit: That's Sūpā Saiya-jin Goddo for those that don't know. And Super Saiyan God for those that watch the English version.

Well, still better than Super GodMod9i 3D Director's Cut Edition Deluxe Ultra XL & Knuckles.

Progress of the day:

I will need a tester (someone with a hardmod or other means to restore SysNAND!) soon - anyone interested?

Test version is coming later today, with most of the important functionality already working. Stay tuned...

In the meantime, I have a question to A9LH users running Decrypt9WIP. ..I understand that, if run from SysNAND A9LH, most decryption related stuff will not work. Now, if you start Decrypt9WIP from SysNAND A9LH, and, without running any other features first, try to dump the SysNAND CTRNAND (I know, it will not work), what is the exact output in the debug console? A screenshot, photo or the relevant part of the Decrypt9.log would help a lot.

It would help even more if you repeated the process with Decrypt9WIP running via some other means (A9LH EmuNAND, f.e.) and also provide the output.

I get a "CTR start not found!" and a failure, that's it

CTRNAND isn't set at all. And IIRC, the CTRNAND keys aren't set either.

Is it piracy if it was released for free? Not in my opinion, but I also think it's not piracy if buying it isn't owning it, and it's not piracy if you can't buy it from the original creators anymore.
