I'm very happy this is being picked up by the community. I'm working on getting a standard list out which is empty by default so if new products get released creating a list should be easy (see here for details). Anyway, just to let you all know there is more then the DS-Xtreme list

:

G6lite list
Ewin2 list
SuperCard list
DS-link list
DS-Xtreme list
EZflash IV list
Neo2/3-TF list
Ninja DS list

So if you have one of the products add a few games and help the lists grow

.

Most of thoese carts already have lists..
True but this way they´re all at one place (I hate searching for pages). Anyway, keep up to date what you like

.
And of course anyone is free to edit them so keeping them up to date shouldn't take anyone long (just put a few games in and if you try something not yet in there give a go at updating it).

Then why not link to the individual comaptibility list? I don't think the EZ4 is the only on with a wiki list..

Well, for one I don't know where they are at.

For two I think a lot of the cards don't have one yet (NinjaDS, Ewin2, DS-link, DS-Xtreme, Neo2-TF (yes one on Neoflash which I find hard to read) though G6 probably has one no clue where).

Number three I just made a wiki and put the lists in there, It's up to the community to fill them if it wants. Getting it all together in one spot kept up to date by users seems like a really nice concept to me. It also means that if for example I don't have the time to add something to the list someone else can thus no-one having to wait long. Also feel free to write other things in there if "applicable".

If you don't feel like filling the list or contributing to it in any way then don't, simple as that.

Also if a new product is made a new list can easily be made and then updated. Again at the same known location thus making it very easy to find information about a product.

Darn, the slowdown in games makes me worry..

QUOTE said:
Q: What about reading Speeds from the DS ? Are they Equal to an original cart?
A: Original carts have various speeds, our hardware is designed to match the speed as close as possible. No problems to this date.

Q: Is the Game Play affected speed-wise with the use of DS-Xtreme?
A: Nope.
Quite a few games suffer slowdown. Personally I experienced it with Metroid Prime Pinball and Castlevania Dawn of Sorrow.. I hope it'll get fixed in the firmware update :/

I noticed that the freeze issues for Castlevania Portait of Ruin were mentioned, but has anyone else been getting corrupt .sav files? I started keeping backup copies of my saves... the corruption has occured around 4 times. The problem was happening on a first batch DSX with the new firmware installed. I decided to put the game on my 3rd batch DSX with firmware 1.02 to see. That was just yesterday and I haven't had the corrupted .sav issue yet, but I'm still getting freezes. My girlfriend also has a 3rd batch DSX she received for Christmas and after a few weeks of playing The Urbz, she just got the dreaded .sav file corruption today. Luckily, I backed up all her .sav files the other day after installing a new skin.

    @Xdqwerty, Yeah, I'd recommend having another OS just in-case you want to play games.

    At least Linux doesn't contain spyware than what Windows has.

    @SylverReZ, cuz of lag?
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
    @Xdqwerty, No. Whenever you use the internet on Windows, Microsoft collects personal data and installs bloatware that isn't necessarily needed, such as Edge.

    @SylverReZ,
    I recall @impeeza mentioned some trick about not having bloatware when installing windows where you set up your country to "world" or smh like that

  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
    Yes, you can debloat the operating system, but in some cases for me it just reinstalls them.

    @SylverReZ,
    I also recall my brother downloded a "non bloated" version of windows 11 on his pc

    @Xdqwerty yes, when you are installing Windows on the first steps you are asked for your current location, you MUST to select «international» so no bloatware is installed, because the bloatware is location based. if this night I have some time I will setup a VM and take screenshots.
