Not likely.
GB/GBC mode stuff is never going to happen. The hardware selection is so different (started by the little black switch inside the cart slot) and no way to punch through.
There were ways of hotswapping to dump saves a while back, which could logically be extended to ROMs (though would take forever as you would be getting it 2 megabytes at a time maybe, possibly less). That said the Omega line is not amenable to hot swapping in the way some of the NOR era/NOR style things can do stuff with it.
This then leaves esoteric ways -- dumping things via audio cable for instance

Beyond that you are building link cables (
http://www.chishm.com/SendSave/index.html ) or in the case of the GBA getting a DS and DS flash slot 1/DS slot flash cart, or buying/building a standalone dumper (
https://hackaday.com/2011/05/09/avr-gameboy-dumper/ , plus various linkers/cradles and cables from the NOR era stuff). Don't know what goes right now for the analogue pocket (it plays carts, it plays ROMs, can grab savestates if nothing else but saves and ROM dumping as a feature in and of itself was yet to be done) but if investing in things that might be a choice worth considering.
