One of last year's biggest games is getting some new major content. FromSoft has announced that an expansion for Elden Ring titled Shadow of the Erdtree is in development. A piece of concept art was shared, alongside the information that DLC will be available for all platforms that the game has released on, which may come as a relief to players on Xbox One or PlayStation 4.

I really love the story, the graphical and artistic style of the world, but the music was constantly depressive , like Skyrim on Prozac.

Couldn’t play for more than an hour before having to play something more.. uplifting like Kirby

Cracked a smile when I saw this at work in the morning. Can't wait, I clocked in 120-ish hours and 100% the game.

Guess you never thought of listening to your own music of choice while playing literally any game in existence.

There's something about video games that take themselves WAY too seriously with a cryptic plot that no one truly understands that just doesn't work for me.

The music are awesome, they works well with the world and lore to create this amazing atmosphere, but I got your point.

Your first comment was that you really love the story but the music was too depressing to play for more than an hour. Now the plot doesn't work for you either? Did you love the story or not? You have conflicting statements. :)

    @Xdqwerty, Yeah, I'd recommend having another OS just in-case you want to play games.

    At least Linux doesn't contain spyware than what Windows has.

    @SylverReZ, cuz of lag?
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
    @Xdqwerty, No. Whenever you use the internet on Windows, Microsoft collects personal data and installs bloatware that isn't necessarily needed, such as Edge.

    @SylverReZ,
    I recall @impeeza mentioned some trick about not having bloatware when installing windows where you set up your country to "world" or smh like that

    Yes, you can debloat the operating system, but in some cases for me it just reinstalls them.

    @SylverReZ,
    I also recall my brother downloded a "non bloated" version of windows 11 on his pc

    @Xdqwerty yes, when you are installing Windows on the first steps you are asked for your current location, you MUST to select «international» so no bloatware is installed, because the bloatware is location based. if this night I have some time I will setup a VM and take screenshots.

OK no problem the issue is he would download DBZ movies and they where amazing usually like 2-8KB in size lol can't remember how many times I had to format and reinstall windows over his stupidity. I even explained to him about file sizes multiple times...
