Some of them just animate when you scroll through your menu :D
My current favourite is the Pokemon kyogre/grouden one just for the sounds

I'd like to expand on that and include anyone with a US 3DS on 4.x with emuNAND to PM me for the same thing.

I think, the US theme pack already got released ;-) on a certain warez site
it claims to have all themes, didn't check the number yet .... let me check

edit: yeah it says it has 43 themes, that should be around as many as the US have so far
there are 49 Theme files in total and 6 are Index files so only 43 themes left, yeah checks out

I meant to get the US titlekey as to ensure all future theme updates (and also maybe those as-of-yet unreleased ones) :P

Thanks for the new v6.0, really is an excellent pack guys! Shouts out to everyone involved in making these packs, massive BigUps again to everyone! :yaynds:

Edit: Favorite so far is Pikmin Working Together just for the music, so relaxing just to listen!

So I tried out the themes, and I really like some of them.
But does anyone know if there is a way to turn off the background music? It doesn't fit in and it gets pretty annoying.
If there isn't then GorTesK it would be great if you can make a version of this without the background music (or with the default background music instead), as there seems to be a way to edit themes from what I've heard. :)
ok well here is for the fairly pointless feature...but hey someone asked so here you go, if you want a theme but dont like the BGM,
open save data filer,
go to Ext subsection,
go to 000002ce and press a
go to Bgmcache.bin and press "X" to delete it,

enjoy your theme with no background music, to get the music back just select a different theme and then choose it again and the music will be restored, this will stay like this even if you restart etc

(ps before you try i already tried seeing if we could switch it for a bgm from a different theme, but it seems you cannot restore 000002ce in save data filer, it just gives me an error)

(Btw, it's not a pointless feature -- I've seen people all over the internet asking if they can turn off the BGM for themes)
It's not that I don't like the music it's just a bit much to have it there all the time. :P

yeah i just mean its fairly pointless in the grand scheme of things i was hoping to maybe insert a custom theme that way....but oh well, it served a purpose, it keeps all the sound effects still which is kinda cool i suppose :P

Yeah thanks! I was wanting the Yoshi theme but with the default music, standard Nintendo menu music is very chilled and not distracting, but until we get proper editing, having no music is nicer than the attention-grabbing music of most themes.

@SylverReZ, what kind of headphones you use, fam? You run a DAC or anything?

    Soundcore is decent for cheap

I used to have my entire music collection in FLAC, but there is so many songs and devices that I want to store them that lossless compression wasn't enough, not to mention compatibility

a few years ago I decided to convert everything to mp3 with a relatively high bitrate, I had a terrible feeling I would regret doing that but to honest, I couldn't tell the difference in the audio quality after I did that

I got rid of my local music collection years ago when I subscribed to Google Play Music. Big regerts

I'm planning to start building it back up though. Plus, Usenet automation around music downloading has gotten so much better since then

I used to use high end headphones and speakers JBL back when they made good speakers lol X-Fi Fatality edition sound card on PCI with XP back when Windows had good sound....

I mean built in sound on mobo's has gotten way better but still XP handled sound better and X-Fi was still better than onboard audio even to this day

Hell not sure what was going on but for like a few weeks MP3's sounded muffled, some driver or Windows update fixed it. Thank god lol

I'd sooner buy the Meze 109 Pro if I was dropping that much on headphones. I don't even like buds/IEMs
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
I got the Google Pixel Pro buds, they're good enough for when I need portable audio. And some really cheap IEMs that Dankpods recommends, I think the KZ ZSN Pro
    +1
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
I'd stick with cheapo Chinese $10 ones quality is actually becoming on pair with name brand since name Brand usually quads the price up anyway loose one bud that's another $200
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
My Pixel Pro buds shit the bed a month or two ago. My wireless charger (which they do support Qi charging) absolutely COOKED them. Caused some problem that caused the case to heat up to 180F+
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
They were like 9 months out of warranty but I hit up Google support anyway and told them how hot they were getting and they replaced them with new ones because they wanted these for failure analysis lol
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
    lol wireless charging
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
Yeah that's why I can't bring myself to even spend $100 on wireless earbuds
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I think it's a cool idea but damn
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
Apparently the case has a problem with >15W wireless chargers. Google design fault, that one.
