Hi guys, good to join the community, I'm new here and this is my first post.

I'm currently running on: Kernel 1.03 and firmware 6.0.
Booting into safe mode tells me everything is good.
I messed it up and had to re image my Omega. I had a couple issues but I have it booting fine. it opens and plays games.
When i go to save, it saves the game.
After waiting 5-10 seconds i turn the GBA off
Turn it back on, i can go to the saves folder and see the save is there.
Then when i go to start a game it either acts like its the first time powering it on, or it tells me the save file has been erased before booting.
i dont think the battery is dead because i can see the save in the folder.

ive tried all kinds off stuff and cant figure it out.
any help would be appreciated.

Would you mind sharing which game you tried in particular? Also, the battery is for the Omega DE's RTC which has nothing to do with this because the DE in particular uses FRAM (battery-less equivalent of SRAM).

The battery is not used by either model of the EZ Flash Omega for saving. It is only for RTC. Replacing the battery will not fix anything.

It sounds like an issue with your SD card then. it would probably be best to reformat.
