gb4gb, a new game boy/color/super emulator has been released for wii by Daid
It's an early release with quite a few noted problems/problem games but it has some fantastic features already:
  • Emulate up to 4 game boys on screen at once!

  • Working link cable emulation between 1st & 2nd game boy and 3rd & 4th (Pokemon trading works!!

    )
I really hope this emulator keeps the author's interest for a while.

EDIT: Both Tetris & Mortal Kombat work while linked. Street Fighter 2 crashed after the intro music. He's still getting top marks from me.

Does anyone know if you have to have the roms on SD card? I have the emulator in apps folder and roms in a folder on USB. When I click load rom nothing happens.

So... If I have a save game for pokemon Ruby on my emulator and I want to transfer my pokemon to a Hert Gold copy I have to transfer the pokemon to a original cartige inserted in a GBA via link cable, and then go to a place in heart gold (dont remember the name of the place), and there insert the original cartige on my DS Lite GBA slot, and then transfer...

Is it the only way, right?

Well, for the fisrt time, emulated pokemon can be considered legit...

I wonder how this got overlooked... I guess not many people here read the Wiibrew forums.
It would help if they posted it under Homebrew News on the front page of Wiibrew.org.

So... Mario Tennis GBC linking?!? It's so much better than the N64 version!

EDIT: And no, people, no GBA. No Pokemon Ruby. We'll just have to wait.

EDIT2:

Actually, a LONG time ago we gained the ability to restore emu saves to real carts and trade that way.

This is a very cool proof of concept, he needs to add features though:
-remove sound from all but one (should also keep speeds up too)
-usb loading
-recognition of .GBC not just .gbc as well as .zip
-if speed can be improved, then the ability to adjust how large each screen is (can't help but feel like they could be larger)

I mean I know this is just the initial release, but i just see the fantastic potential here. And I think if enough hard working people work on this, we could potentially one day see a 2 or even 4 way gba emulator

Is there any modded versions of Visual Boy Advanced that support linking or multi screens?
