They basically gave up on it in Japan (despite it being translated they didn't even get the second DS entry, though it since appeared on the 3ds virtual console I believe) and since then Fire Emblem (which the same devs as Advance Wars seem to handle) blew up massively.Please please pleaseeeeeeeeee ask if there's any chance of a new Advance Wars game within the next year or two. It's my favorite strategy series of all time.

I am probably one of the last people you have to sell the notion of advance wars toFire Emblem has a much too serious tone for my liking. I didn't like Days of Ruin because of that vibe. But the first three Advance Wars were fantastic. It's a shame Nintendo gives us tons of Mario Party's and generic Mario sides scrollers, but we haven't had a new AW since 2008.
From what we have seen already then no, or if it is then it will be restricted to games released after now or those they can justify a massive patching session on.@Chary ask them if they're gonna try their best to eliminate hacked cheating or future cheating during online play now that it's a paid service.
