However to get an original back you'll either have to ask someone for it or get it off a Wii game that has it.
Golfman560 said:Try reinstalling the MIOS with Wiigator's patcher. If you hit right or left on the D-Pad it changes the version. I'd suggest trying V8

I get the same result using Wiigators miospatcher using 4,5, and 8 as well as Wanikoko's cmios installer. I was using a 3.3U system menu. I tried downgrading through ARC to 3.2U but that didn't seem to make a difference.
I can currently play wii backups made through the same method and on the same media on gamma.
I haven't found anyone saying they were having this same issue yet.
I, also, noticed that if I try and load the launcher with R the screen would not be the static green but it would be a jumbled mix of colors.
At the point that it freezes it does not appear to be doing anything with the drive and there is no sound. I also tried with a Mario Party 7 iso to make sure it wasn't the image but it had the same results.
I installed the MIOSs by network installation. Is it possible there was an error with the installation that scrolled by to fast to notice and was not listed at the end. With Wankiokos, there were no error messages.

1) Can I burn it on regular size DVD, or needs to be on MiniDVD..??
2) Can I just re-name it to .iso or needs a especial app to do this..?
3) Does the size matter for the launcher..??
4) Some people (I think) are using the Gamma Launcher, does it work..??

1) Use DVD or Mini DVD, their both supported
2)Just rename the .gcm to .iso
3)Not that I know
4)Haven't tried it, sorry

Actually you don't need to rename the .gcm to .iso. Imgburn supports .gcm files too!

That only happens when you press b to load through mios. Any other boot method will give you a normal save
ether2802 said:What the deal about no video signal out and just the audio..?? the game works thru the Disc Channel if Wanky's cMIOS8 is installed, and thru the Gamma loader and thru the GC Loader, but just the audio, no video signal output...!!!

1)If one game isn't compatible/doesn't work for some reason, will all other games on the disc Fail (which will make the disc useless)?
2)Can I combine scrubbed and non-scrubbed games?
3)If I want to boot from the disc channel, can I actually use a multiGame ISO?? If you can, how do you select the game you want to play?
