Hacking Hard drive docks and the coming releases.

So I am doing storage shopping waiting on a solid release has anyone had any hard drive compatibility issues thus far?

Thinking of buying a dual drive dock with a switch for vWii and WIIU loading.

I haven't looked into redNAND yet, but I have hacked my vWii and have an external hard drive for Wii and GameCube games. I'm using uStealth so that I can keep the hard drive connected in Wii U mode without it prompting me to format it. I was thinking that, when I start using a hard drive for redNAND, I could just partition the hard drive, use one partition for redNAND and the other for vWii, and just use uStealth to hide the vWii partition. In theory, that should give me a hard drive in both modes without having to have two separate drives or swap between them. But perhaps there will be other solutions as things progress.
