Until now.

Gericom found an exploit in DS Download Station, allowing us to run any homebrew we'd like over DS download play.

This is a big jump, but would it be theoretically possible to run a emulator with a haxx station and intercepting it with ds download play on a normal ds?

Could nds-savegame-manager be modified to work with this? It says it can dump saves over wifi, so no SD access won't be a problem there. However, it looks like it tries to load ftp settings from an ini file. If this homebrew was modified to hard-code the ip and stuff, would it work? Or does the DS not even have NDS or GBA save access when running download play?

Running TWLoader 5.5.1 on unofficial bootstrap (and prerelease 5.5.1b too) it gets to the green 'profiling wireless channels' bit then gets stuck. Halp mi!

Unfortunately, it looks like the ds download station is not compatible with twloader atm. If you have a flashcard you can use it though.

It is if you use the old version of nds-bootstrap which is included in the lastest TWLoader.

Hmm On twloader 5.1.1 on my n3ds, im using the old nds-bootstrap with the ds download hax, but i get a white screen :/

Edit: Oh, DS can only connect to WEP hotspots. R.I.P plan, 7/21/17-7/24/17.

The ds have access to slot-1's save when running dlp for sure, because that's how poke transfer works in pokemon fifth gen games.
