Hi I am newcomer and back into Jailbreak community.

a part of me wishes I hadn't joined the ps4 scene though, because of how the ps3 scene has been for a long time. all people care about is free games, and god help you if you interfere with that.

I cared enough to salvage my saves, so I first dumped the games without the keystone, because I didn't know about it. then, I redumped just the base game, since that's the only thing that has the keystone, then my patch didn't work. there was no repacker at the time, so I had to dump my games a third time 'til I finally got everything sorted. all saves work. however, I haven't played a single game since I exploited the system. I just don't care about them, so I haven't enjoyed owning an exploited system at all. it's nice to learn about the system, but that's only fun for so long. that's probably the only reason I joined any scene. it's probably been 10 years since I played any pirated games aside from dkc returns and nsmb on the wii. those are the only pirated games I play. couldn't care less about the rest I've pirated.

icic so means you are more to getting the original game itself than the pirated since of the back 10 years past..

I spend so much time modifying these systems and whatnot that it would be a shame if they failed. I had a 360 fail on me once, got rrod. I flashed the drive on it, and when I opened it up, I noticed that the x clamps had been removed. that suggests the system may have had heating problems in the past, because after all, it was used. it failed before I could beat my first game, maybe got about 50 hours of gaming time in on tales of vesperia and braid, which I beat. I have two jtags now and a flashed jasper, but I don't play any of them. afraid that it will get rrod like that shitty xenon. I didn't know at the time that xenon was one of the worst systems ever produced. they do not last very long most of the time. I don't know why I keep them really. I'll probably sell them when I redo my room, same with the ps3 and ps4. don't play any of them, and they're just taking up space. I'd get rid of everything but the switch and the wii u probably. I won't sell them, just put them into storage.

yup yup i heard you very well.. wait is it that xenon which have the BIG green X on top of it.. hahaha i saw it once and one thing i like about xbox is the controller.. however maybe for me i might or may not sell until i get bored and everything i do with it is accomplished.. The reason i am on console due to my pc can't afford to run the sleeping dogs game which then i get myself a PS3.

the big green x I think is the original x box. xenon refers to the motherboard. it's the first model 360. very shitty system.

yep, I have a black shell on mine with a white ring of light instead of green. it's only monochromatic, so if it were to get rrod, it would show three white lights instead of three red ones. personally, I think the problems with the 360 largely killed the xbox brand. after getting rrod myself, I've never wanted to buy another xbox system from any generation. I think a lot of other people feel the same way. no matter what games are on the console, a lot of people will not buy the system for fear that a rrod type thing will happen to them again.

yup same goes to me just by i read a lot of views about it and get that pirated ps2 games which DVD are all so cheap and playable and laughable too. and that's my first console ever which is the ps2 phat version,

I used to play a lot of pirated games on the ps2 and wii, but then I stopped more and more with each generation. I played 2 or 3 on the ps3 and 2 or 3 on the 360. on the ps4, I've played 0 pirated games, though I still do pirate them, just don't play them.

icic that's so bitterness of that years i presume. but if is working it will be fine though nothing wrong with it, or maybe are not quite in the gaming scene. hahaha is alright.

I think there's something wrong with the laser. I asked modchip central what the best ps2 to buy was, and they said 90001 for slim; 30001 for phats. I'm going to try to get a silver ps2 if possible. I really want to check out director's cut.

oh my god the goddes ps2 ancient 30001 are the ones i have but i guess not sure how many times i change the laser but everything goes fine with it really that black phat ps2 version.. fantastic and the blue box itself. hahaha i guess almost 3 times i change the laser... jesus.. i played too much videogames.

I was obviously referring to the word "jailbreak".
Not everyone here escaped from a prison...

It's referring to breaking imposed restrictions within hardware like the 3DS, not literally breaking out of jail..

I don't know why people call the ps4 exploit a jailbreak, when the system has to do about 90% of what's going on. can't use legit saves with the original game's keystone, can't use official packages, can't decrypt anything but fself files, etc. it's far from a jailbreak.

yup ps4 should be name as exploit as it is only exploiting on the host and only ps3 is successfully jailbroken
