I will start off. I traded 5 white cigarettes at rehab for my PS Vita Slim Borderlands 2 Bundle which was the vita with Borderlands 2 downloaded on His acct. and at the time the friend updated to 3.35. I thought I missed 3.18 Golden so updated a few times to 3.57 mostly watching Netflix..ha! got VHBL on that thanks to Hackinformers help and went to 3.60 for Henkaku greatness and a lot of extra fun! At the time that many cigarettes totalled about ~$1.30

Bought my Vita Slim from CeX for £110.
And a few months ago, I bought an OLED Vita from Ebay for £99.

If PSTVs also count, I bought one, also from CeX, for £30 iirc.

how do you like the OLED comparably?
The OLED Vita screen is, no doubt about it, the best out of the two for me. More brighter, smoother, natural-looking colors than LCD, albeit the screen is sometimes prone to ghosting/burn-in... LCD was just a pure downgrade (to cut manufacturing costs?), and it's a shame OLED couldn't have been carried over to the Slim.

It isn't the first time I've owned an OLED though; I had one back in 2015 for a few months before I swapped it for the Slim I have today, and also for the fact I thought LCD was quite somewhat better at the time. :P

Holy crap that was a good deal

I sold the as new a week after I got it for £110 with 8GB. Came with 3.61 unfortunately. Then kept the brand new one that came with 1.61FW. Updated to 3.60 with the 32GB card. Got someone buying it for £170 boxed etc.

I just don't use it unfortunately. Unlike the days when I used my PSP. Same with the N3DS. I had the normal and N3DSXL on launch. Back in the days when you had to be on 9.2FW. But again just sold them.

Damn that's a great deal. Almost makes me want to start doing drugs so I can end up in rehab.

$160 for my Vita Slim and an additional $150 for a 64GB mem card. I gotta say, aside from the screen (which quite honestly I'm not too fussed about since ghosting/burn-ins are a turn off) the Slim is pretty much better in all regards.

Apparently Gamestop Italy has been dumping PSTVs for some time, so yesterday (after hearing about the future USB disk driver and the PS3-less activation) I rushed out to pick up one of the last ones 80 km far away...

Car (fuel): 4.something €
Car (toll roads): 5.20 €
PSTV: 20.90 €
Hyperdimension Neptunia "Love Live": 15 €
Doubleshock 4 (yes, knockoff): 40 € (LOL at least it works without custom drivers on PC)
Learning how to install VPKs and inject Adrenaline: Priceless

I got my Dad a firestick for Xmas and showed him those 3rd party sites on Kodi, he loves it, all he watches anymore. He said he has got 3 letters from AT&T already about pirating, but he says f them, let them shut my internet off (He wants out of his AT&T contract anyways)
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
That's where stremio comes to play never got a letter about it
