Does the Doiblesgock 44 allow you to swipe though? thought that was necessary ti close PS apps.
I don't know (never seen anything using the touchpad, assuming it's supported at all on PSTV), but I can close Vita apps with home>O, and PSP ones with long press home > settings (adrenaline menu) > exit pspmode if that's what you mean!

I bought me OLED vita from someone for 80 quid iirc.
Included LBP2, AC3 or blackflag and a COD game, the latter 2 I gave to me bf so he could sell them.

Edit: oh and it came with 2 4GB Vitacards.

Bought my Slim Vita for $160 USD and it only came with the charging cable. Was planning to hack it but it was on 3.63, got it anyways always wanted a vita.

I also bought a new PS TV for $48 and currently have Henkaku and adrenaline setup on it

Bought an 8GB memory card for $28 and I'm currently waiting for my 16 GB to arrive.

My first vita I traded in my xbox 360 slim for. Don't quite remember how much I paid after that. It was at gamestop though so I didn't get much for my 360 so I probably still paid quite a bit.

I got my vita for 190000bsf (VEF currency) which should be about 47.50$ for you (Parallel exchange is around 4000VEF per $, no one can get $ at the official price from the government)

Still, that's like 5 months of minimum wage here. So really really expensive.

It came with Little Big Planet PSVita, a hardcase, a travel pouch, a charger and a sweet sweet 16gb memory card.

So i still got it "dirt cheap" in comparison to what people sell them here for. The best out of the deal is that it came on 3.60 and now it's sitting on Henkaku+Adrenaline goodness.

EDIT: It's an OLED 3g+Wifi Vita 1000 (fat). Though the 3G is useless since AT&T does not work here.

30 CAD for my PSTV at Fan Expo in the EB Games department. Then got a used 4 GB memory card at an actual EB games branch for about 8 dollars.

Paid $44.09 for my PSTV from amazon. First time buying off of a seller from amazon, and I am impressed. Crossing my fingers for USB Mass Storage as I only have an 8 GB card between the Vita and PS TV.

I bought it a few months after release for $200. It had its ups and down with months of rigorous use and months of dust collecting but with games still releasing for it in hindsight it was totally worth it. I also have a Kisok(IDU) Vita that was picked up for $80 and a Vita TV(for henkaku) that was found for $30. I don't really pirate much for the vita though because I like having physical games and there are a lot of niche games on the vita I don't think we'll be getting reprints of. I have 2 8GB cards, 2 4GB cards, 1 16GB card and 1 32GB card all filled with games.

1. Used but like new PS Vita Slim 3.51 plus 8GB Memcard for 65€ in Sep 2016, one month after henkaku was released but was not widely known. Now it is constantly priced ~ 150 on ebay.
2. Used PSTV 3.55 for 20€.

@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.

They probably said "Hey, why not we combine the two together and make a 'new' DS to sell".

It's a DS Lite in a slightly bigger DS Lite shell.

@SylverReZ if you could find a v5 DS ML you would have the best of both worlds since the v5 units had the same backlight brightness levels as the DS Lite unlockable with flashme

A woman with no arms and no legs was sitting on a beach. A man comes along and the woman says, "I've never been hugged before." So the man feels bad and hugs her. She says "Well i've also never been kissed before." So he gives her a kiss on the cheek. She says "Well I've also never been fucked before." So the man picks her up, and throws her in the ocean and says "Now you're fucked."

anyways, we need to re-normalize physical media

if i didn't want my games to be permanent, then i'd rent them

Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.
  • AncientBoi @ AncientBoi:
    I don't pirate them, I Use Them :mellow:. Like I do @BigOnYa 's couch :tpi::evil::rofl2:

@BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM
  • cearp @ cearp:
You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60

    :rofl2:
  • cearp @ cearp:
still, I agree physical media is nice to have. just pointing out the issue is drm
  • rqkaiju2 @ rqkaiju2:
i like physical media because it actually feels like you own it. thats why i plan on burning music to cds
