Wait a minute, does going into Data Management in Sysnand with unlinked nands, erase all the CIAs put on Emunand?

  • Don't turn on your internet connection.
  • Don't install update CIAs on NAND.
  • Make sure your system settings show Rei, RX, or related in front of version if you are making an attempt to upgrade emuNAND.
  • Unlink emuNAND from sysNAND. This is done by formatting either sysNAND or emuNAND. Most individuals format sysNAND. To do this, boot into sysNAND and follow these instructions.
  • Keep in mind Pasta CFW does NOT boot emuNAND. Pasta is limited to booting only sysNAND.
  • Do not setup the same theme on sysNAND and emuNAND. Have one theme setup exclusively for sysNAND and have another theme exclusively for emuNAND.
  • Install Menuhax to your sysNAND ASAP. This allows you to circumvent booting sysNAND altogether.
  • Delete wireless access point settings from sysNAND. To do this, first boot sysNAND then follow these instructions: Go to System Settings > Internet Settings > Connection Settings > Select Connection 1, 2, and/or 3 > Select Delete Settings > Select Delete
  • If you must have internet settings [on sysNAND], setup TubeHax DNS [on sysNAND]. To do this, follow these instructions: Go to network, click on your network, click on edit, go to DNS, click on NO and advanced settings, use this DNS: 107.211.140.065
  • Keep in mind CakesFW does not have the altered version string

1) If you're still using GW3DS and want a perfect boot rate an internet connection is (somewhat) required
2) Why would anyone update when there's an option to update using the internet??
3) Exiting System Settings boots you back to the sysNAND regardless of what NAND you were using
4) Unlinking the sysNAND using the method you linked to results in an update to 10.5 (which isn't useful in any way) I've been informed this is wrong, still the other 9 points are valid
5) How is this related to anything in the title??
6) Why not, you can use different icon placements / folder names to differentiate between the two
7) Using Ninjhax doesn't guarantee a 100% successfull boot rate (see GW.3dsx launcher for further details)
8) Couldn't this be merged with point 1??
9) Only 1 good point so far (even though I'm pretty sure 98% of people already know about this, except newcomers and people that don't read)
10) WhatIsThisIDon'tEven?!?!?1 (same as point 5)

I like how at the end you say it's 95% your credit (even though you only gave 9/10 points, which means it's actually 90%) when all the points you wrote were actually mentioned on several HUNDREDS of other threads.

Why does this thread exist when there's a ton of others explaining the same things in even more detail???

  1. Go to Parental controls
  2. Set them all to blocked.
  3. Profit.

Actually you can still update without a pin if you have a parental lock, Lots of people learn that the hard way by their younger siblings
How?

How?
If* you got the nag, it will always appear if you have parental lock or not and your siblings easily presses the UPDATE button and your 3ds ,becomes worthless

@The Real Jdbye, I thought about that and I have blank DVD's and Blurays but honestly after like 90 songs I just listen to it a couple of hundred times toss it out and burn something else or have like 2-3 CD's. Florida here the heat in the car tends to ruin the CD's after like a few months even commercial pressed ones don't last too long.
