1. Disable all internet access. Need parental controls to get it back.
2. Go to recovery mode to delete the downloaded update.

My setup is No Internet settings in my sysnand and it autoboots to emunand which does have internet settings, Emunand and Sysnand uses different internet settings when there unlinked

I just coldboot into my emuNAND, I haven't seen my sysNAND in weeks
Edit: I also deleted the internet connection in the sysNAND. No Internet, no update.

To be sure, you have to put in junk info for all three connections on sysNAND. Otherwise it copies stuff from emuNAND.

I'm just not seeing it.

I think _v3 must be confusing a system format with a system update. There's no way that the system will update when doing a system format, even if it's connected to the internet or even if it has the 'background' update already cached.
