I know it sounds silly mate but I had one the other week where I was convinced it was never going to boot to b9s. I removed and reinserted the SD a few times and retried and got it on about the 20th try. I've done probably 100 3ds and this one was the worst

Delete the boot.firm, download SafeB9SInstaller again and rename it to boot.firm (beware, it could happen that the filled is called "boot.firm.firm". I have seen it happen).
Nevermind just got it to work. Whew I was worried I bought a stock system. Thanks all

Well, from what I've heard from my parents, he had a seizure last night, perhaps an epileptic episode, fucking died, had a near death experience, my dad called the paramedics, they showed up, took him to the hospital, and he woke up covered in tubes, and started complaining.
