I bought a 3DS LL a while back that came hacked already, would it be possible to add more games to it or do I have to remod it again?

I bought a 3DS a while back and it came modded, but I think the seller deleted the fbi file or whichever he used to mod it and just left the games. This is a 3DS LL too and it’s region unlocked and in english, I can even still access the eshop but I don’t know if it’s possible to add more games to it or if I would have to mod it again myself.

Thank you! I was able to find out what firmware it had. I have to update it from here, but will it erase any of the data I already have on it?
