Recently, I bought a used PS4 console from my friend, and I want to increase disk space currently is 250GB and I want to upgrade upto the 500GB which company hard drive is best for Playstation 4 console.

I had upgraded mine from a 500 GB to Samsung 860 EVO 1TB SSD for mine, as pricing for sata SSD storage kept getting more affordable. It litterately shaves off about 30% for loading times.

Want to know something? Ps4 comes with the standard 500gb hdd, so that friend of yours, prior to selling the ps4, took out the factory hdd and put a spare 250gb one. With hdd nowadays it's best to increase it to 1Tb. I don't even remember which brand I have in mine but I heard western digital has good hdds

Put in an SSD of 2-4tb (max 8tb) if you want a lot of games
