So, years back I went WiiU crazy and installed everything to a single hard drive. I have everything booting off the WiiU main screen using (i think?) forwarders. So I boot up my WiiU and go to my Gamecube folder and boot up something straight from there, and it asks me to choose Tv or Tv/Gamepad. This works normally for Wii games and, of course, WiiU games boot normally too. Everything works normally.
Fast forward to today: I want to use a classic controller hack on DKC Returns. I figured whatever setup i have to boot into DKC Returns from the WiiU OS wouldn't work in vWii so i put the game on the Sd card. When I boot into vWii I can't seem to find the game on the Sd card. It's currently setup as a wbfs file in /wbfs/[game id]/[game id].wbfs. (I have gecko installed with a /codes/[game id].gct file ready to go but launch game attempts to boot the dvd drive instead).
I did a little research and found perhaps it needs to be on the hdd this way but when I plug my hdd into my pc it "doesn't exist" in the normal fashion.
I believe, but i'm not sure if i did, use ustealth in the past but R7 & R8 do not unlock the drive. The drive status is *unknown* and "you cannot make changes to an unknown boot sector type!" error occurs, probably for good reason indicating I may have not used ustealth back then...?
Does any of this make sense to anyone/ring a bell/memory and have any guidance?
