>Every manufacturing company ever spends loads of money over the past years putting Apple specific docks on their products.
>Apple changes the location / shape(?) of docking plug

What a surprise. Not only does it force everyone to go out and buy new speakers etc. it also means companies spend a fortune changing their products and discontinuing old ones, thus also forcing old iPhone owners to buy the new one.

Meh. Besides the fact that I'm not even interested in the iPhone 5 anymore, after the disappointing handset that the 4s was for me, and getting a SGS3 a few days ago, it just doesn't look 'Steve Jobs-polished'. E.g. eventhough the new location of the stereo jack is a nice feature, it destroys the symmetry of the speaker/mic-holes, which wouldn't be too Apple-esque. But whatever, I'm pretty positive it's going to be yet another magical iDevice made by apple. Read as: 'Nothing new to see here. Please go on.'

I see Apple still doesn't want Flash on their products... *sigh*
android is dumping flash support in jelly bean if it makes you feel better...

Flash needs to go. Only problem with apple and android ditching it, is that the majority of web video and some games are in flash. Web designers need to get their shit together and support HTML5

Flash… Great when it works, horrible when it doesn't… These days I use clicktoflash to force most videos to load in mp4…

Smaller connecter would be nice , but it will come with a set back , I also wish they add a more battery life since the one I have last like sh*t on the Iphone 4s.

Eventhough the New 3DS XL is more powerful, I still feel like the DS Lite was a more polished system. It's a real shame that it never got an XL variant keeping the GBA slot. You'd have to go on AliExpress and buy an ML shell to give a DS phat the unofficial "DS Lite" treatment, and that's the best we'll ever get I'm afraid.

The phat model had amazingly loud speakers tho.

@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.

They probably said "Hey, why not we combine the two together and make a 'new' DS to sell".
  • Veho @ Veho:
It's a DS Lite in a slightly bigger DS Lite shell.

    It's not a Nintendo / iQue official product, it's a 3rd party custom.

Nothing special about it other than it's more comfortable than the Lite
    for people with beefy hands.
