Hacking Is FW 3.0.0 completely banned from online just like 2.X is?

I currently have my Switch on 2.1.0, and I remember that when 2.3 was released I could still access the eShop, news, etc.

Is this still happening with 3.0.0? Or is it impossible to access any online services like with 2.X?

If I am correct, 3.0.1 and 3.0.2 can access Nintendo online services, but any lower firmware can't.

Always just assume that latest firmware is required, as that's pretty much how it's always been.
