Hacking Is it safe to increase CPU Speed in TempGBA?

Basically what the title says but i forgot to add CATSFC(the SNES emu). Will they fry the dstwo or the 3ds xl over time, or will it just absorb more battery?

the chip was made to run at those clock rates
the chip is down clocked by default to save battery life

That's good to know. I just did not know how durable the DSTWO CPU was and was afraid it could easily overheat.
