Duplicate Is Tapatalk plugin still working?

I'd like to use gbatemp with the Tapatalk app, I bought it just now for gbatemp actually. But Tapatalk is reporting that I can't access gbatemp because the plugin might not be working. The full message is "This forum is either restricting access from Tapatalk or the installed Tapatalk plugin is not working. PLease contact your forum administrator."

I also miss that feature a lot... But there is another android application called ForumRunner that has Xenforo support. GBAtemp hasn't enabled/installed what forumrunner needs though. So there are two options for this site if they feel like offering more mobile support.

I was under the impression that once you click to ignore or cancel, it doesn't bother you again unless you clear your browser history/cookies or something.

That's what I thought, but chrome on iPad seems to forget sometimes.

IMO that nag is useless even when it does work right. Just another thing to say no to. I think it'd be better if we just mentioned on the board that it was supported for those who want it, without shoving it in everyone's face.

That's how it is by default, I get it on rootzwiki and other forums with tapatalk. No idea if it can be turned off by the staff.

I am usually using "desktop" user agents though, so they don't bother me.

I've removed them on another website, so I know they can be disabled. To do it in code, the easiest is to delete the pile of IFs at the top of tapatalkdetect.js in the detectTapatalk function.

If the plugin has a fancy admin UI or the like (it may or may not based on how it's implemented here), there's probably an option to turn it off or set the messages (blank turns them off).

Nah, just access to Safari has been removed, and the ability to install new apps without the password. No Safari = no porn, but Wikipedia app and others still work fine (can find a picture of a vagina I guess).

But Tapatalk is up, so yay, problem solved.
